Empowering Communities with Esports, Creative Media, and AI: A New Chapter for Fraser Esports and East Hampshire District Council

We’re thrilled to announce a new initiative that combines innovation, education, and community engagement. Fraser Esports is partnering with East Hampshire District Council to deliver a series of interactive virtual workshops focusing on Esports, Creative Media, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

These workshops, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), aim to empower individuals of all ages—especially older adults—to explore cutting-edge fields, acquire transferable skills, and discover how these emerging industries can shape their futures.

Why Workshops Like These Matter

The pace of technological and cultural change often leaves gaps in understanding and skills. For older generations, these workshops provide:

  • A window into new industries: Esports, Creative Media, and AI aren’t just buzzwords; they are thriving sectors driving the future of work and creativity.
  • Transferable skills: Understanding these fields equips participants with tools that can be applied across industries, from marketing and entrepreneurship to education and beyond.
  • Economic opportunities: These sessions demystify how these fields can generate income, even for those with no prior experience.
  • Intergenerational connection: Gaining insight into what the next generation is passionate about fosters understanding and collaboration.
